Greg and Corena have crossed the line! Now, just to put this into perspective….they have been racing for almost 12 hours….they swam for 3.8 kms, rode their bike for 180.2 kms (the equivalent of from here to salisbury, NB) and then ran 42.2 kms.(the equivalent of charlottetown to montague)
Preliminary results are
Corena – a very impressive 5th in her age category and 577th overall 11:32:35….swim 1:10, bike 6:12 and run 3:59.
Greg - 77th in his age category and 539th overall 11:26:41…swim 1:18, bike 6:01 and run 3:52.
Huge kudos and congratulations to you both. An amazing feat. Rest, recover and rehydrate well. Have Mary Lynn and Greg cater to your needs.

Congrats!
A hugh congratulations to Corena and Greg. An amazing feat! Gary and I were glued to the internet all day. Looking forward to hearing all about it.
That’s incredible guys. It’s been really cool to see you guys prepare for this at the gym (not to mention all of the other hours spent on the road and in the pool).
Can wait to hear more about it from both of you.
Mike
Wow!! Incredible, congrats to both of you.
This is awesome. Congratulations to the Iron couple!!
Amazing, Greg and Corena!! Wow. Congrats!
Any one of those events on their own is a challenge for many- congratulations on all your hard work!!! No doubt all your CF hours gave you that extra edge when things got tough!
I am impressed!!! 2 great athletes. Enjoy Tremblant. It’s one of my favorite places.
Awesome job, Corena and Greg – so proud of you both!
Thank-you everyone for all the support and encouraging words this summer.
Greg and I are still speaking to each other even though he beat me solid.
We got lucky and had great weather and not one bike mechanical.
In the end it comes down to strength and mental stamina, we honed these skills at Crossfit PEI.
See everyone soon, looking forward to going back to school and being a normal kid doing WOD’s.
I am blown away by this. Sub 4 hour marathons … after 7+ hours of work. Way to go
Very, very impressed. I think I’m tough after a 20 minute AMRAP… Just can’t imagine doing an Ironman. You’re my new heroes.
